Peeking At Your Privacy is a collection that artfully combines elements of gay pornography, revelation, and film noir, resulting in garments that possess a unique ability to simultaneously conceal and reveal. The act of divulging oneself to another requires trust and openness, granting them a glimpse into a deeper part of who we are, without necessarily fully understanding us. However, when allowing numerous individuals to gaze upon our bodies, it can leave a lasting impression, altering our perception of both ourselves and those around us.
Having made my body known to others, I find myself growing indifferent to the sensation of being observed. The garments within this collection serve to both cover and uncover the body, skillfully manipulating the concept of privacy they were designed to create. "Peeking At Your Privacy" reclaims the transformative nature of revelation, imbuing it with an ironic sense of value.
Within this collection, the delicate interplay of sensuality, mystery, and self-discovery is evident. Each garment acts as a vehicle for the exploration of trust, vulnerability, and the enigmatic depths of our being. By defying societal boundaries and embracing unconventional self-expression, this collection becomes a testament to the beauty found in our intimate desires and secrets.

The collection derives its inspiration from the allure of vintage gay pornography, seamlessly blending a subdued color palette with iconic attire to create a visual narrative that captivates. Influenced by 1940s film noir, the garments cleverly incorporate manipulations and materials that evoke the voyeuristic act of peeking, where blinds and curtains play a metaphorical role. The editorial pictures, thoughtfully set in a public bathroom, artfully reflect the gritty aesthetics of the mood board, lending an authentic touch to the collection's portrayal of hidden desires and clandestine encounters.
The classic white button-up is transformed into a floor-length dress in Look #3. Through 74 hand-pleats and 148 hand-set special oval-shaped grommets, the semi-transparent back becomes a functional set of metaphorical blinds. The "peeking" on the front of the dress is held secure by hook-and-eyes on the side seam as well as along the top and bottom of the pleat section. Underneath the dress is an iconic white jockstrap, a staple of gay culture, hand-beaded with over 100 Swarovski crystals to resemble brown pubic hair.
